Forbes | Big Investors Don’t Believe All The AI Hype, But Pay Attention To Infrastructure

Investment management technology provider Clearwater Analytics has recently launched CWAN GenAI, an embedded generative AI platform that’s already deployed across more than $10 trillion in institutional assets. Unlike other systems which graft AI tools on to legacy systems, it is fully integrated into production operations, delivering results including a 90% reduction in manual reconciliation, 80% faster regulatory reporting and 50% faster financial close cycles. The platform has around 800 AI agents created by clients and internal teams.

The Asset 25 | Insurance asset managers boost private market allocations

Insurance asset managers are dramatically increasing their allocations to private markets. Data from 101 insurance asset managers and consultants, representing US$4.5 trillion in unaffiliated general account insurance assets under management ( AUM ), shows that 21% of their assets held in these accounts are invested in private markets, a new report says. That compares with 15% in 2022, 9% in 2020, and 7% in 2015.
